Eighty-nine percent of blind and visually impaired people live in low and middle income countries.
Most of these countries are in Africa, Asia, and Latin America and the Caribbean, which is why we focus our work in these regions.
Internationally, Orbis works in 20 countries (2018), but has worked in 80+ countries since 1982
